Frequently Asked Questions
What should I pack for Tasmania?
What should I pack for Tasmania?
We suggest to pack both summer and winter clothing. It can get very cold in the highlands in Tasmania, even in summer. We recommend closed-toe walking/hiking shoes, toiletries, towel, hat, sunscreen, waterproof jacket / wet weather gear, swim gear and 1-2 litre water bottle.
Your backpack or suitcase must be no heavier than 20kg please. The luggage will be stored in a trailer during the day and unloaded each evening. You must bring a smaller day pack to store your daily essentials such as water bottle, jacket and swim gear during the day.
