This tour starts in Amsterdam and ends in Corfu. On day one of your tour, please arrive in Amsterdam and check into your Joining Hotel before your welcome meeting in the evening (usually between 5 pm and 7 pm).

We believe single travellers should not have to pay more to travel so our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travellers joining group trips are paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex for the duration of the trip.

This tour is designed for budget-conscious travellers aged between 18 and 35 with a maximum of 24 travellers per group (average group size of 16 people). It is an immersive, social, wallet-friendly adventure where epic hostels will be your home base. Transport throughout the tour will be via public bus, train, and private van.

This tour has lots of optional activities so you can tailor your experience to your budget. The activities on this tour are suitable for most fitness levels and, at most, include some light walking and hiking. Travellers shouldn’t expect anything too challenging.

All countries require a valid passport (with a minimum of 6 months validity).

Contact your local embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date visa requirements, or see your travel agent.

It is your own responsibility to have the correct travel documentation. Visa requirements for your trip will vary depending on where you are from and where you are going.

Yes, travel insurance is compulsory on this trip.

Every traveller is different and therefore spending money requirements will vary. Some travellers may drink more than others while other travellers like to purchase more souvenirs than most. Please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing for drinks, shopping and tipping.

We recommend budgeting around 1,300-1,700 AUD for any meals not included in the tour price.

We recommend using a backpack for your convenience, or a medium-sized suitcase if you prefer. A daypack is also essential for carrying everyday items. Space is limited on transportation, so there is a limit of one main piece of luggage per person. You will be responsible for carrying your own luggage. You must be prepared to carry your luggage up and down stairs, on and off transportation, and to hotels (max 15-20 mins.)

You’ll be staying in a mix of hostels (26 nights), hotels (2 nights), and an overnight ferry (1 night). On this trip, you can expect to stay in hip and lively hostels in excellent central locations to give you maximum time for exploring the sights. You can expect to find clean, safe, simple accommodation in convenient locations. The group will also spend the night on a ferry when travelling between Ancona and Split.

Note that most accommodations in Europe do not have air conditioning units in the rooms. Air conditioning is not routinely installed in European homes and workplaces.

Accommodation will be primarily in multi-share hostels (typically 6-8 people per room), with a choice of mixed-gender and female-only dorms as well as available upgrades to twin-share rooms (same gender).

Some rooming exceptions may apply due to the unique nature of the itineraries and of the hostels themselves, which have been specifically chosen to give local flavour to your trip.

If you have an existing medical condition or disability that may affect your trip or how the Tour Operator delivers your experience, they ask that you inform them in writing at the time of your booking. You may be asked to obtain a medical certificate, and if they reasonably feel they are unable to accommodate your particular needs, they reserve the right to decline your booking.

While travelling on this tour, you'll experience a vast array of wonderful food. Your group leader will be able to suggest restaurants to try during your trip. To give you maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat, only some meals are included in this tour price.

This also gives you more budgeting flexibility. As a rule, groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. If you have dietary requirements and/or food allergies, please let the Tour Operator know at the time of booking or prior to departure.
